The Stores Manager plays a vital role in the supply chain process, you will manage people, processes, and systems to ensure that goods are received and stored correctly, before ensuring their smooth flow through the manufacturing process. A key element of this position will be to understand in detail, the daily/weekly production schedules, able to spot upcoming material or part availability issues that will hinder the team’s ability to achieve our goals. Essential duties include coordinating parts and consumables for daily operations, maintaining rigid stock control, liaising with procurement to order consumables and material, preventing excess stock, actioning non-usable items and waste materials, and assisting in solving inconsistencies between inventory and stock records. An integrator exists on the uniquely TAIT line between technology and art, helping to create the best shows and spectacles in the world.   An associate integrator is the first step in the integration career path, generally an entry-level role or a starting point from another TAIT department. The focus of the associate level is training, growth, ensuring the role is a good fit, and helping with project tasks as assigned. One the of the defining differences between associate integrator and integrator is the ability to lead a project, not just part of a project.

Based at Brilliant Stages in Wakefield, West Yorkshire and part of the TAIT Group.  We are currently looking for a Seamstress.    Position Purpose Seamstress/Seamster are a vital part of the Soft Goods Department and play a key role in our manufacturing process, producing drapery using industrial sewing machines and hand held tools, such as tailoring scissors, tape measures, eyelet machines and hot knifes, to cut and produce a variety of soft goods products. Essentially, a Seamstress/Seamster role is to work alongside the Soft Goods Lead and supporting and assisting in the manufacture and production of fabric based projects. Ensuring effective and efficient production whilst producing the high quality products. Other essential duties include interfacing with other departments within the company and assisting or offering support with other projects within the workshop. Observing processes that support the wider business, having an active role in site safety, and ensuring that, with collaboration and teamwork, we always strive to execute on manufacturing to the highest possible standards.

Based at Brilliant Stages in Wakefield, West Yorkshire and part of the TAIT Group.  We are currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer.    Position Purpose The MDE Level II is a competent design engineer, able to take key involvement in design phases of projects. They may assume responsibility for small projects and/or elements with supervision and will be aware of progress and liaise with the senior engineer regards technical, schedule and budgetary constraints. The MDE Level II must maintain knowledge of the cutting edge of technology in relevant subject areas. Whilst the role does not involve any direct line management, there will be duties in delegation of work, planning, supporting and mentoring staff as required. An effective MDE Level II will work on developing their leadership skills and maintain a positive approach to all challenges.
