The integration resource administrator facilitates activities of the integration management team, specifically the integration resource manager and department head, with administrative tasks related to resource scheduling, travel logistics, and team communication. Under the guidance of the integration resource manager, this position will work directly with the production control department to maintain departmental project information and budgets, and with integrators to audit and encourage active participation in the TAIT Project Process. It is essential that this position maintain a pulse on the company and attend weekly group project meetings to stay up to date on project status.

This role exists to support in local logistics as well as act as a support role for Shipping and Receiving and overall warehouse requirements. This person must have a strong background in driving safety with numerous types of vehicles including Class C license. This person would need to obtain and hold a medical card for commercial driving. When not satisfying local pick up and deliveries this person would report to the Shipping and Receiving Lead to assist with the various requirements on the dock as well as intermittent requirements in the inventory department.

Position Purpose:    The Electrical Technician will assist with manufacturing, preparation, and setting up small to large control projects in a group setting or independently with minimal guidance from the group lead. This position will require the fabricator to be highly functional in a multiple of control disciplines and help support control fabrication to deliver a finished product to TAIT’s standard of quality. This is also a first position.

Initially working alongside the Business Development Team, the Contracts Manager will support and help steer potential new contracts through internal processes from the Tender stage to the Execution Stage. They will ensure legal and project management teams have seen, agreed and signed off the detailed terms on each new project with the business development team and the customer. As the contract progresses, they will continue to provide a commercial view on the contract in order to maximise the project profitability. The Mill Machinist I is responsible for machining parts utilizing milling equipment while relying on support from others in the machine shop department. Level I machinists will keep parts running and within specifications with consultation from others such as higher-level machinists. They will be dependent upon others while performing duties including, machine tool setup, process prove out, first article inspection, and operation that are required until the job is complete. This position relies primarily on the experience and judgment of others to plan and accomplish their daily goals.This is also a second shift position as well.

The Mechanical Fabricator/ Welder II position will assist with all manufacturing, assembly, fabrication and welding procedures on TAIT products and projects in a group setting or with minimal guidance from the group lead. This position will require the fabricator to be highly functional in multiple disciplines and help support the fabrication team to deliver a finished product to TAIT’s standards of quality. MIG, TIG, FCAW (aluminium and steel) and a variety of mechanical, assembly and fabrication procedures and techniques.

This position is responsible for correctly identifying, collecting and issuing all materials as referenced on blueprints, as well as properly clock hours to the job. This position requires knowledge of all TAIT saws, rolling, finishing and lifting machinery. In addition, knowledge and understanding of all procedures involving the deck manufacturing process. Expectations will include the ability to read measuring tapes, blueprints, and to maintain and ensure quality parts. Problem identifying, and troubleshooting is an important part of this job.   Other essential duties include interfacing with other departments to solve problems, observing processes that support the wider business, Stock control, having an active role in site safety, and ensuring that, with an emphasis collaboration and teamwork, we always strive to execute on manufacturing to the highest possible standards. This is also a second shift position as well.

The computer numeric controlled (CNC) Programmer/Operator I is responsible for programming computer numeric controlled machine tools. They will be responsible for not only creating new G&M code for equipment to read, but also maintaining and correcting existing programs resident to the company server with support from others. Level I programmers will generate programs per postings on the CNC List(s) with consultation from higher level programmers and others when required. They understand some standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the particular field. A low degree of creativity and latitude is required. This position is also second shift.

The Client Services Role is a healthy mixture of Customer Service, Reception, Administrative Support and Office Management.  This role is responsible for creating a welcoming environment and seamless experience for all TAIT’s visitors, supporting customers with travel arrangements/local logistics, supporting client visits by securing facilities to host meetings arranging catering, as well as overseeing the “front door” and reception areas and responsibilities.  This role will also help support some members of the executive team with client specific support tasks.
