Overview

Based at Brilliant Stages in Wakefield, West Yorkshire and part of the TAIT Group. We are currently looking for an Assets Inventory Controller.

 

Position Purpose

 

To facilitate and support the Asset technical team with the pull and prep of equipment and other various inventory duties. The inventory controller will coordinate orders and deliveries and conduct regular inventory audits and analyses. They will also work with the production teams to understand supply and demand requirements and ensure consistent stock levels. They will also perform forklift tasks on counterbalance and reach forklifts.

To enable the UK Assets team to deliver assets to projects efficiently and professionally.

 

Expectations

  • To support the servicing, testing and modifying of Assets and to facilitate the smooth running of all Asset warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Interface with technicians and other team members in order to accomplish goals.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and replenishing stock as needed.
  • Developing and implementing inventory control systems and practices.
  • Tracking inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstocking and out-of-stock (OOS).
  • To take primary responsibility for warehouse plant operations and safe systems of work i.e. forklift operations
  • Use Rentalworks or other asset management systems to keep current and accurate records.
  • Performing regular stock checks and reporting any issues to the Assets team
  • Maintain tools, work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and follow safe working practices.
  • Maintaining and updating records of purchase orders, pricing reports, and inventory records.
  • Take responsibility for QHSE relating to warehouse operations.
  • Take on additional tasks as required by Assets Manager.

Qualifications

Foundation / Position Requirements

  • Experience in a warehouse or rentals environment
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations
  • Counterbalance and reach forklift licenses
  • Knowledge of inventory management practices
