Overview:

 

The Sourcing Analyst will integrate and drive sourcing management function into TAIT project teams.  The goal would be to support and convey accurate outsourced total cost of ownership pricing models, ensure supply chain risk mitigation measures are in place with the selected suppliers and for long term project success.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate into core project teams representing the procurement / supply chain function
  • Coordination of the qualification of external supply base in support of outsourced operations (including quality audits, manufacturing process audits as well as financial stability analysis) for specific assigned projects
  • Negotiating total cost of ownership for outsourced projects, in addition executing contractual agreements to protect TAIT’s long-term interests for specific assigned projects
  • Educating and assisting internal designers on Epicor material process flows
  • Maintaining internal system purchase orders for specific assigned projects
  • Support inter-group communication / information sharing procedure to ensure the tactical group is prepared to support product demand for projects assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management or similar area of focus
  • 5-10 years of experience in sourcing, procurement or supply chain

 

Preferred Requirements

  • 8 years of experience in Supply Chain
  • Proven track record of analysis work within a Supply Chain position
  • Experience/Knowledge of the Entertainment Industry

 

Ideal Traits

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, a must
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Proven and demonstrated experience in successfully managing projects and deadlines
  • Ability to observe issues and work through problem solving approaches
  • Comfortability in presenting in front of small and large groups of individuals
