    Overview:

     

    The Asset Coordinator manages the rental database (RentalWorks) to produce reports, store and disseminate relevant asset information, and maximize the effective utilization of all rental assets. Provides information to technicians and production associates regarding the preparation of rental assets prior to jobs and the disposition of all rental assets upon their return.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Creation of shortage reports delivered to Project Managers and Estimators regarding upcoming events. This process includes thorough investigation into shortages, clarification of variables, recommendation of possible substitutions given current inventory levels, and identification of methods for reducing prep costs.
    • Development of forecasts showing asset shortages and surpluses based on details such as usage in previous touring cycles.
    • Promotion of under-utilized assets to maximize company profit.
    • Creation and management of orders within the RentalWorks database which include accurate project dates, responsible parties, and changes to gear configurations.
    • Production of regular reports and appropriate follow-up to ensure accurate database information regarding physical location and operational status of gear.
    • Production of information for and management of the company knowledgebase including asset specifications, accessories, spare parts, show histories, and other relevant details.
    • Clear verbal and written communication to educate other employees regarding how assets function and interact with one another to create systems.
    • Managing documentation of crucial processes such as asset repairs.
    • Generation of demands in company ERP system to create new assets and purchase needed parts.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Associates/Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Accounting or similar area of focus OR Minimum 4 years of Relevant Work Experience within Entertainment Industry
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

     

    Desired:

    • Experience working in Rental Environment, Inventory Management, Planning or Scheduling
    • Experience with RentalWorks
    • Experience with Customer Service
    • Experience with data analysis and making recommendations based on findings
