To provide administrative support to the Bid Team to ensure that the team produces high-quality bids to an agreed schedule.
The Bid Administrator will need to be familiar with office administrative processes, business development and bidding policies, IT systems, document filing, maintenance of bid library and supporting documentation and should have a good understanding of bid submissions and how to produce them. They will need to be able to look for gaps in existing supporting documentation and develop a plan in conjunction with the rest of the team, and other departments as required, to fill these gaps and be actively involved in all stages of compiling bid documents to a high standard. They will also need to have experience in standardizing template bid documents and creating and updating a library of bid documents. Their role will include:
