    Responsibilities

    Based at our offices in Japan the Accounts Administrator will need to manage and be responsible for all accounting work related to, and including taxes, auditing, bookkeeping and invoicing.

     

    Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

     

    The Accounts Administrator will have a variety of responsibilities that are vitally important to the business. Their core role will be overseeing accounts within the business including reviewing and reconciling accounts, processing payments to external partners and maintaining updated records of invoices and receipts.

     

    • Manage obligations to suppliers, customers and third-party vendors
    • Process bank deposits
    • Reconcile financial statements and make sure they comply with financial policies and procedures
    • Prepare, send and store invoices
    • Contact clients and send reminders to ensure timely payments
    • Submit tax forms
    • Identify and address discrepancies and keep organised records at all times
    • Report on the status of accounts payable and receivable
    • Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets
    • Support the financial team as needed

     

    Qualifications

    The right person will need the following qualifications and experience:

     

    • Degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field
    • Good knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and debt collection regulations.
    • Up to date tax knowledge
    • Proven work experience as an Accounts Administrator or a similar role.
    • Hands on experience with accounting software
    • Advanced knowledge of Excel
    • Good organisational, management and time management abilities
    • Consistant attention to detail
