    Responsibilities

    Core Responsibilities

     

    To be responsible for all stock deliveries and all incoming goods.

     

    Key responsibilities

     

    • Responsible for Full ‘Goods in’ protocol at Tait,
    • Arrange for courier and shipment collections within the UK and

    internationally, contacting logistics companies (Telenet, Fedex,UPS, TNT, Deadline etc).

    • Ensure that the deliveries and their contents have been checked and correctly invoiced.
    • Keep accurate records of all delivery’s and entering them onto our ERP system.
    • Generate advice notes and customs invoices, using our ERP system.
    • Assign space in the workshop for storage of parts.
    • Liaise with the Production Scheduler regarding requirements for projects.
    • Chasing up missing deliveries and returning any faulty goods to the manufacturers.
    • Driving the reach and counter balance forklift truck when required.

    Qualifications

    Education and Qualification:

    • A good all-round general education, educated to GCSE standard or higher

     

    • A knowledge of Manual Handling
    • Understanding of a basic or advance ERP or similar system
    • A confidence in communication with both internal and external people
    • Willing to learn and cooperate
    • Ambitious and self-driven
    • Motivation to progress in the role and department
    • Reliable, punctual and good time management skills
    • Computer literate
    • Confidence of working independently and as part of the team
    • Must be eligible to work in the UK
    • Would be desirable to have a current Forklift license or IPAF
