    Responsibilities

    The Hoist Technician will ensure all required hoist inspections and maintenance plans/programs are implemented for our rental fleet. They will participate in and be involved in all final assembly and verification of newly manufactured hoist products to ensure all quality control checks and processes have been followed.

     

    Qualifications

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

    • Staging of items to proper orders within Rental Works software including verification of order- 30 days
    • Tear down, inspection, and reassembly of a hoist including documentation to satisfaction of the department head in accordance with standard company procedures – 60 days
    • Installation of chain and proper limit setting for single and double reeve chains – 60 days
    • Load test and perform necessary adjustments to the hoist to pass Factory Acceptance Testing – 90 days
    • Complete wiring and mechanical assembly of a hoist body from base parts - 120 days

      

    POSITION COMPETENCIES:

     

    Critical:

    • Familiarity with chain hoists and winches and their operation
    • Understanding of entertainment standards and regulations regarding overhead lifting
    • Able to adapt and willing to cross train in other departments as needed
    • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
