    Overview

     

    The Inventory Analyst will maintain orderly tracking of production materials, part inventory, incoming material inspection/receipt utilizing TAIT’s ERP system. The Inventory Analyst processes returns, cycle counts, material location checks, and stock item replenishments daily. This position plays an important role between shipping & receiving, machine shop, fabrication, and procurement.

    Responsibilities

     

    Essential Responsibilities

    • Utilizing the inventory level chart physically count and balance system numbers
    • Replenish raw material storage areas in shop when depleted.
    • Verify all return counts from the receiving departments
    • Maintain various lists, databases and programs related to stock control.
    • Locate damaged goods into special area for destruction or return to vendor
    • Perform cycle counts and bin checks
    • Loading & unloading supplier delivery trucks
    • Any other duties assigned by manager

    Qualifications

     

    Education and Qualifications

    • 2-4+ yrs. experience in an inventory control position
    • This position requires that the person be a highly organized, self-motivated individual who can work independently.
    • Experience with Cycle Counts for Inventory Control
    • Proficient with e-mail communications via MS Outlook
    • Proficient with MS Excel (data entry, spreadsheet creation, create basic formulas)
    • Strong interpersonal, communications, problem solving, organizational and analytical aptitude.
    • Bill of Material and part number systems experience a plus
    • ERP experience a must, Epicor a plus
    • Forklift and overhead crane experience needed
    • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
