    To assist with essential production administrative duties, as to ensure the smooth running of the Production department. Supporting the Production Team in all instances, you will oversee and perform administrative functions concerned with projects i.e. placing orders, filing test certificates. You will regularly deal with suppliers and staff interdepartmentally. 

    Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

    • To be first point of call for all internal and external enquiries to the production team.
    • Maintain up to date information on deliveries of outsourced parts.
    • Liaise with production department on production administration issues.
    • Use Epicor to raise purchase orders and keep track of stock.
    • Assist in the coordination of travel arrangements.
    • Book travel and hotels when required for the project team, liaising with the Office Administrator.
    • Keep a record of holidays taken by the Production Team.
    • Place orders and handle queries related to the team.
    • Book taxis, bikes and hire cars when required.
    • Book lorries for transportation of goods when required.
    • Build a strong professional relationship with clients and managers.
    • To work closely with other administrators and provide cover when needed.

    Educational Attainment

    A good all-round education


    Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C or higher


    A-Level’s (or equivalent)


    Knowledge Required

    Computer literate with all of the Microsoft Office Suite


    Well versed in using an ERP system

    Experience in using Epicor

    Experience Required

    Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in an administrative role


    Experience working in a fast-paced customer driven office

    Experience of working in an engineering or manufacturing environment


    Finance experience

    General Intelligence

    Fluent spoken and written English
