    The Hoist Technician will ensure all hoist required inspections and maintenance plans/programs are implemented and followed. Will participate and be involved in all final assembly and verification on newly manufactured hoist products and insure all Quality Control checks and processes have been implemented and followed at all times.


    Essential Responsibilities

    • Repairs and maintains all hoist and rigging inventory
    • Understand industry standards and regulations (ASME, OSHA)
    • Ensures recertification and maintenance policies and procedures are met and related paperwork is in order
    • Maintains and enters all factory acceptance testing and yearly certification documentation
    • Ensures all equipment deadlines are met
    • Maintain accurate parts lists for all related equipment
    • Pulls and prepares equipment for all outgoing projects as per paperwork
    • Receives and documents all inbound rigging equipment shipments
    • Informs product group supervisor of missing or damaged equipment
    • Maintains accurate paperwork & Time keeping to each assigned job
    • Leads by example and encourages subordinates and peers to perform work in a safe manner, wear proper PPE, adhere to safety standards and policies, and remain accident free.
    • Cross-trains to assist in different departments as required
    • Keeps work area clean and organized
    • Other duties as assigned or directed


    Education and Qualifications

    • +1 year of Hoist repair experience
    • Completed on Line CM- ET Lodestar Training Course
    • Completed NAV100 series Entry Level class
    • Developed electrical basics & fundamentals in troubleshooting
    • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
    • Ability to troubleshoot, prioritize and execute all job-related tasks with thorough attention to detail
    • Must have strong organizational skills and be able to prioritize work to meet deadlines
    • Must be able to multi-task in fast-paced environment, under pressure, and time constraints
    • Ability to work flexible hours and overtime, including weekends and holidays, when needed
